Bank Run Gravel /

Our bank run gravel, also referred to simply as bank gravel, is pure and natural, having been mined directly from the ground. It’s ideal to use as a base under driveways or roadways, or a fill around foundations. Bank gravel also promotes drainage and helps to retard plant and insect growth. Bank gravel is a relatively lower-cost material than processed material, which makes it ideal for large scale applications. |
| Crushed Gravel / Crushed Stone / Washed Gravel |
Our crushed gravel begins as natural stones which are then processed by crushing and sorting by size. Note that the terms crushed stone, crushed gravel and washed gravel are often used interchangeably in our industry. Unlike natural round stone, crushed gravel provides more permanent voids to promote good drainage and retard insect and plant growth. Crushed gravel is best used for drainage under sidewalks and stone patios, as well as for fill around and under leaching beds and for stone driveways. Once installed and rolled or tamped, it resists settling. |
| Washed Natural Round Stone |
Our round stone is a natural, locally mined product that is washed and sorted by size. This product is available in a variety of sizes, from 3/8” to 1 1/2 “. If you can describe your application to us, we’ll be glad to help you determine the best product for your needs. For example, 3/8” and ½” can be used for dog runs and landscaping. Both ½” and ¾” round stone can be used for drainage, landscaping, driveways and walkways. Round stone from ½” to 1 ½” can be used for French drains, for example, as a drip line around foundations. Our 1 ½” round washed natural stone is often used as a ballast on flat rubber roofs, as well as for landscaping applications. |
