Principal Selection Committee                        
Worked with a team of district school officials as well as community representatives and other parent representatives to find a replacement for our retiring principal. / Meetings were weekly and much work was involved in advertising this position, analyzing and discussing 30 resumes, interviewing and creating packets for the top ten candidates (primarily my responsibility) and visiting the school environments of the final two candidates.   
 
PTO President
Primary responsibility involved the oversight of the Parent Teacher Organization (PTO). / Organized working teams of parent volunteers and teachers focused on making the learning environment a safe and productive experience.  / Responsible for the oversight of fundraising activities and managing a budget of nearly $100,000. / Led monthly PTO meetings and communicated with parents via monthly school newspaper articles and weekly fliers.
